Week 3 Blog

As I conducted my search of books on leadership development I have found it to be a subject that still continues to look for change for future stability in an organization. I have come across a number of different leadership models that claim to make a difference with in organizations through case studies that were conducted. One book I will use and further research and reading will be, Research in Organizational Change and Development Series editor(s): Richard Woodman, Professor William Pasmore, Abraham B. (Rami) Shani.  There will be a number of books before I’m done with all my research and this class is giving me the knowledge of where I would like to go with my research. For I would like to find out if there is one model that will fit well into most organization or even all organizations that can keep up with the continued change of people, society and technology or at a minimum give a basic foundation for adaptability to change.

I found a new look at data bases, while conducting my research, on how they work with the search engines on the web through my readings and some searches done.  Although I used the library this time it was enlighten to know about the search engines.  The library was somewhat difficult to download or even look at prefaces and introductions for some of the books I looked at. Other books were ok but could not get a full look at the book at one time. I enjoyed looking through EBSCO data base better than the library it was easier to navigate through for me and I could look at more of the book in bigger blocks or table of contents.  Over all it was something new to learn and interesting to find out.
